Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add steak in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until nicely browned. Remove and set aside.
4️⃣ Stir-Fry the Veggies
Add remaining 1 tbsp oil to the pan. Sauté the onions and bell peppers for 2–3 minutes until just tender but still crisp. Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5️⃣ Combine and Thicken
Return the steak to the pan. Pour in the sauce and stir to combine everything. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the beef and vegetables.
6️⃣ Serve
Serve immediately over steamed white rice, fried rice, or noodles. Garnish with extra cracked pepper or sesame seeds if desired.
