Pan-Seared Garlic Herb Tofu

Prepare the Tofu

Slice the pressed tofu into evenly sized cubes. Pat completely dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Coat

Lightly toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Sear

Heat olive oil in a non-stick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu in a single layer.

Create the Crust

Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, turning gently, until all sides are golden brown and crispy.
