Ingredients and Instructions
Roast 4 cloves of garlic and 1 leek in the oven at 350 degrees for about an hour or until soft.
Saute carrots, 2 stalks of celery and 1 white onion until soft, add 2 cans of vegetable broth, bring to a boil, add the leeks, squeeze in all the garlic and 2 sprigs of sage and a bunch of thyme, boil while watching movies. I also usually use rosemary, but it was not in the store.
Set aside a small saucepan, boil 2 chicken breasts with another sprig of sage and a bunch of thyme until you feel nauseous. Chop and set aside.
Return to the main pot, remove the herb stalks and leeks (though squeeze all the good ingredients back into the pot!) Bring it to a boil again, add the noodles. Add the chicken when they’re ready and ENJOY!
Also, to really kick the cold ass, I garnished my bowl with a chopped raw garlic clove.
