Pizza Cupcakes: The Ultimate Bite-Sized Party Appetizer

Pizza Cupcakes

When my kids were young, we made “mini pizzas” for game nights—sticky fingers, big smiles, and the smell of melted cheese in the air. These pizza cupcakes are a fun twist on those nights. They’re easy to whip up, great for sharing, and disappear faster than you can say “pepperoni”! A perfect choice for parties or a quick snack that brings everyone to the kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni (or chopped regular pepperoni)

  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Optional: chopped bell peppers, olives, mushrooms

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.

  • Flatten each biscuit and press into the muffin cups to form little crusts.

  • Spoon 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each cup.

  • Add your toppings: cheese, pepperoni, and any extras.

  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

  • Let cool 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use parchment muffin liners for easy cleanup.

  • Try with cooked sausage or a vegetarian combo.

  • These reheat well—pop in the air fryer for a quick snack later.
