This one’s for the nights when you just can’t choose between a juicy cheeseburger and gooey lasagna. Inspired by my uncle’s legendary bacon burgers and grandma’s Sunday lasagna, this dish is rich, savory, and unforgettable. It’s loaded with layers of cheesy beef, smoky bacon, and garlicky goodness that’ll have the whole table cheering for seconds!
9 lasagna noodles, cooked
1 lb ground beef
6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
1/2 cup diced onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
1 egg
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 1/2 cups marinara or tomato sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef with onions and garlic until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in chopped bacon and set aside.
In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, and half of the Parmesan.
Layer lasagna in a greased baking dish: noodles, meat mixture, ricotta blend, sauce, and cheeses. Repeat layers, ending with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 10–15 more until bubbly and golden.
Let sit 10 minutes before slicing.
For extra flavor, drizzle garlic butter on top after baking.
Swap in ground turkey or veggie crumbles for a lighter version.
Add pickles or ketchup swirl if you’re feeling adventurous—burger-style!
