One-bowl chocolate cake

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 23cm (9 inch) round pan or cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, yogurt, oil and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and ground coffee (if using). Mix until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared mold and smooth the surface.
  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Coffee powder (optional) enhances the flavor of the chocolate.
