- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 23cm (9 inch) round pan or cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, yogurt, oil and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and ground coffee (if using). Mix until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared mold and smooth the surface.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

- Use eggs at room temperature for a fluffier cake.
- Coffee powder (optional) enhances the flavor of the chocolate.
- You can serve it plain, sprinkled with icing sugar, or with your favorite icing.
