Instructions

  1. Melt the Chocolate:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped Andes Mints and butter. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir until smooth. If needed, microwave in 15-second increments, stirring well after each, until completely smooth.
  2. Coat the Cereal:
    • Place the Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and stir until evenly coated.
  3. Add Powdered Sugar:
    • Transfer the coated cereal to a large ziptop bag. Add the powdered sugar, seal the bag, and shake vigorously until the cereal is evenly coated in the sugar.
  4. Set the Base:
    • Pour the mixture onto a baking pan and spread it out evenly.
  5. Prepare the Topping:
    • Sprinkle the chopped Andes Mints over the coated cereal.
    • Melt the green candy melts according to the package instructions. Drizzle the melted candy over the cereal mixture using a spoon.
  6. Let It Set:
    • Allow the candy melts to harden before serving.
