Ingredients

Scale

Smash Burgers

  • 8 Street Taco-Sized Keto Zero Carb Tortillas
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 8 slices American Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Dill Pickle Slices
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Keto Big Mac Sauce

  • 1/3 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Dill Pickles
  • 1 1/2 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • 3 tsp Sugar-Free Ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Skillet:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the Beef:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Knead until well mixed.
  3. Form the Patties:
Divide the beef mixture into 8 evenly sized balls.
  4. Assemble the Burgers:
Press one ball of the meat mixture onto the front of a tortilla, spreading it evenly to cover the entire surface. Repeat with the remaining meat and tortillas.
  5. Cook the Burgers:
Place the tortillas meat-side down into the heated skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, using a spatula to smash the tortillas flat and create a crispy patty.
  6. Add Cheese:
Flip the burgers over, top each with a slice of American cheese, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  7. Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together all the sauce ingredients until well combined.
  8. Assemble the Burgers:
Spread a generous amount of the keto Big Mac sauce over each burger. Top with shredded lettuce and two pickle slices.
  9. Serve and Enjoy:
Serve immediately and enjoy your low-carb, keto-friendly Big Mac Smash Burgers!

Notes

  • Smashing Technique: Use a sturdy spatula to press down firmly on the burgers while cooking. This creates a crispy crust and locks in flavor.
  • Cheese Options: If you prefer a different cheese, feel free to swap American cheese for cheddar or pepper jack.
  • Make Ahead: The keto Big Mac sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Customize: Add other keto-friendly toppings like sliced onions or sugar-free BBQ sauce for extra flavor.
