  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken, garlic, red onion, parsley, dill, oregano, breadcrumbs, egg, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.

  • Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Cook the meatballs in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes).

  • Serve warm with tzatziki sauce, a fresh salad, or tucked into pita bread!

Notes

  • Wet your hands slightly before rolling the meatballs to prevent sticking.

  • These meatballs freeze beautifully — perfect for a quick meal later on!
