When my granddaughter first made these for our Sunday gathering, the look on everyone’s face as they bit into that warm, melty cheese center was unforgettable. Now they’re a must-have at every family event! These biscuit bombs are perfect when you need a quick, comforting snack that wows. Give them a try — your kitchen will smell like heaven in no time!
Main Ingredients:
1 (8-count) package Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
4 mozzarella string cheese sticks, cut into 8 pieces each (total: 32 cheese chunks)
Garlic Butter:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp finely minced garlic
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
Pinch of fine sea salt
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Split each biscuit in half, then flatten each into a ¼-inch round using your hands or a rolling pin.
Mix butter, garlic, parsley, and salt in a small bowl to create your garlic glaze.
Add 2 cheese pieces in the center of each biscuit round. Fold and seal tightly into a ball, seam side down on a baking sheet.
Brush with garlic butter, then bake for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
Brush again after baking with the remaining garlic butter. Serve warm for the full gooey effect!
Keep it sealed! Press the dough edges firmly so the cheese stays inside during baking.
Use a light-colored baking sheet to avoid over-browning on the bottoms.
For extra crispiness, place the biscuit bombs on a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
Want a kick? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy twist.
Make ahead tip: Assemble and refrigerate, then pop into the oven right before guests arrive for warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven bites.
Leftovers? Reheat in the oven or air fryer for a few minutes — they crisp right back up.
