There’s something heartwarming about the smell of grilled chicken on a sunny afternoon. This Garlic Parmesan Grilled Chicken recipe has been a family favorite ever since Grandpa fired up the grill one summer and added his secret twist—Parmesan! Now, it’s our go-to for weekend lunches. Try it and make it part of your own tradition. Let’s bring that golden flavor to your table!
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, Parmesan, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Coat the chicken breasts well in the marinade. Let sit for 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Grill chicken for 6–7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
Tender Chicken Trick: Pound the chicken breasts slightly to an even thickness for faster, more even cooking.
Marinate Longer: For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken overnight in the fridge. Just cover it well.
Grill Marks Magic: To get perfect grill marks, don’t move the chicken too much once it’s on the grill.
Juicy Every Time: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after grilling to keep it juicy and tender inside.
No Grill? No Problem! You can also bake it in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes.
