Every summer, my grandmother would slice up golden mangoes under the old kitchen fan, turning them into the most velvety desserts. This mango mousse brings back those sweet memories – light, creamy, and bursting with tropical flavor. It’s the perfect make-ahead dessert for warm afternoons or to brighten any gathering. Try it today and bring a little sunshine to your table!
• 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
• 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream
• Fresh mango slices for garnish
Blend the mango cubes and honey until smooth.
In a chilled bowl, whip the cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form (about 3–5 minutes).
Gently fold in the mango puree until well combined.
Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Garnish with fresh mango slices before serving.
• Use very ripe mangoes for the sweetest, richest flavor.
• Chill your mixing bowl and beaters for easier whipping.
• Best enjoyed within 2 days, though it keeps up to 4 in the fridge.
