These French Dip Sliders take me back to cozy family movie nights when we all shared plates of warm, cheesy sliders dipped in rich au jus. They’re simple, hearty, and full of flavor — perfect for feeding a crowd or enjoying on a quiet evening. One bite and you’ll feel wrapped in comfort. Try them and make your own delicious memories!
12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
1 lb sliced roast beef (deli-style)
12 slices provolone cheese
1 packet au jus gravy mix (plus water per instructions)
4 tbsp butter (melted)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Optional: horseradish or mayo for spreading
Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Rolls: Slice slider buns in half (keep tops and bottoms together). Place bottoms in a baking dish.
Layer It Up: Add roast beef slices, then cheese. Place the top buns over the filling.
Butter Topping: Mix melted butter with Worcestershire, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush over the buns.
Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until golden and melty.
Au Jus: Prepare the gravy mix per package directions.
Serve: Slice and serve hot with a bowl of au jus for dipping!
Make ahead and bake when ready!
Use Swiss or mozzarella cheese for a twist.
Toast the bottoms a few minutes before adding fillings for a crispier base.
