Ingredients

Scale
  • 48 pretzel twists
  • 1 cup white chocolate melting discs
  • 1 cup dark chocolate melting discs
  • 3 tablespoons white nonpareil sprinkles (for sheep pretzels)
  • 24 candy eyes (3/16″ size, 2 per sheep pretzel)
  • 12 pink heart sprinkles (1 per rabbit pretzel)
  • 24 black or navy nonpareil sprinkles (2 per rabbit pretzel)
  • 2 tablespoons pastel sprinkles (for sprinkle/drizzle pretzels)

Instructions

Chocolate Melting Process

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate at 50% power for 1-2 minutes. Stir until smooth. If not fully melted, return to the microwave in 15-second intervals.
  2. For piping: Transfer melted chocolate into a small ziplock bag. Cut a tiny corner off the bag to create a piping tip.

Rabbit Pretzels

  1. Dip pretzels in melted white chocolate, tapping off excess. Place on a wax paper-lined tray and chill in the refrigerator for 3 minutes to set.
  2. Remove from the fridge and pipe white chocolate into the bottom opening of the pretzel to form the face.
  3. Immediately add black nonpareil sprinkles for eyes and a pink heart sprinkle for the nose. Chill for 2 minutes to set.
  4. Use a food coloring marker to draw whiskers.

Sheep Pretzels

  1. Dip pretzels in melted white chocolate, tapping off excess. Place on a wax paper-lined tray and immediately cover with white nonpareil sprinkles. Chill for 3 minutes to set.
  2. Remove from the fridge and pipe dark chocolate into the top opening of the pretzel to form the face. Add two small chocolate dots for ears.
  3. Use a toothpick to drag the edges of the dots toward the face to create ears. Add candy eyes and chill for 2 minutes to set.

Sprinkle/Drizzle Pretzels

  1. For sprinkle pretzels: Dip pretzels in melted dark or milk chocolate, tapping off excess. Immediately add pastel sprinkles and chill for 2 minutes to set.
  2. For drizzle pretzels: Dip pretzels in melted dark or milk chocolate and chill for 2 minutes. Drizzle with melted colored white chocolate and chill again to set.

Notes

  • Use high-quality melting chocolate or candy melts for the best results.
  • Work in small batches to keep the chocolate from hardening too quickly.
  • Get creative with decorations—use different colored sprinkles or candy eyes for variety.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
