This recipe is my little secret for busy mornings—a blend of creamy oats, bold coffee, and a hint of cocoa that feels like a treat before the day even begins. I first made it on a sleepy Monday, and it turned breakfast into something I actually looked forward to. It’s smooth, rich, and ready when you are!
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup brewed coffee (cooled)
½ cup milk (any kind you like)
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for thickness)
1 tablespoon Greek yogurt (optional, for creaminess)
Toppings: dark chocolate chips, banana slices, or chopped nuts
In a jar or container, combine oats, coffee, milk, cocoa powder, sweetener, chia seeds, and yogurt.
Stir well, cover, and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
In the morning, stir again and add your favorite toppings.
Enjoy chilled or warm it up for a cozy twist.
Use decaf coffee if you’re sensitive to caffeine.
Add a scoop of protein powder for a post-workout boost.
Make 2–3 jars at once for grab-and-go breakfasts all week.
