Crispy Parmesan Chicken: A Deliciously Easy Recipe with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Crispy Parmesan Chicken

My grandmother used to say, “Comfort comes in a crispy bite and a creamy finish.” This recipe reminds me of Sunday dinners at her kitchen table—where every bite was made with love. Whether you’re cooking for family or want to treat yourself, this dish brings warmth to any night. Try it tonight and share a memory with every forkful.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 4 small–medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Crispy Coating:

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 34 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning or oregano

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup chopped spinach (optional)

Instructions

1. Prep the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

2. Coat with Crunch: Mix Parmesan and panko in a shallow dish. Press onto both sides of the chicken.

3. Sear to Perfection: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook chicken 3–4 mins per side until golden and crispy.

4. Make the Creamy Sauce: Lower heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in cream and Italian seasoning. Add spinach if using, then stir in Parmesan cheese.

5. Simmer: Cover and cook 8–10 more minutes until chicken is fully done (165°F inside).

6. Serve Warm: Plate and spoon sauce generously over the crispy chicken. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crunch, press the coating on firmly.

  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy touch.

  • Freshly grated Parmesan = flavor magic.
