Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1/4 cup Asian BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp soy sauce or tamari

  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Toasted sesame seeds & sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet cut-side down.

  3. Roast for 20–25 minutes until crispy and browned.

  4. While roasting, mix BBQ sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic powder in a bowl.

  5. When sprouts are done, toss immediately in the warm sauce.

  6. Top with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot!
