Creamy Surf & Turf Pasta Delight

This Creamy Surf & Turf Pasta brings back those cozy family memories—rich, comforting, and full of love. It’s a simple way to turn an ordinary evening into something unforgettable. Try it for your next dinner and watch the smiles appear.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g (7 oz) fettuccine or pasta of choice

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 200g (7 oz) sirloin steak, sliced thin

  • 200g (7 oz) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  • Optional: a pinch of chili flakes for a little heat

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Sear the steak: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet. Sear steak slices 2–3 mins per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

  3. Cook the shrimp: In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil. Sauté shrimp 2–3 mins until pink. Set aside.

  4. Make the sauce: Add garlic and onion to the pan. Sauté until soft. Pour in cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and stir in Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Combine everything: Add pasta, steak, and shrimp to the sauce. Toss gently until well coated and heated through.

  6. Serve hot: Garnish with fresh parsley (and a little extra cheese if you like).

Notes

  • Let the steak rest a few minutes before slicing—it keeps it juicy.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.

  • Swap cream for half-and-half for a lighter version.
