Creamy Beetroot Milk

Instructions

  1. Warm the Milk
    Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat over medium until it just begins to simmer.

  2. Add the Beetroot
    Stir in the diced beetroot and reduce the heat to low.

  3. Simmer
    Cook gently for 10–15 minutes, until the beetroot is soft and easily pierced with a fork.

  4. Cool Slightly
    Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5–10 minutes.

  5. Blend Until Smooth
    Carefully transfer the mixture to a blender, or use an immersion blender directly in the pot, and purée until completely smooth.

  6. Strain (Optional)
    For an ultra-smooth texture, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any remaining pulp.

  7. Sweeten
    If desired, stir in your preferred sweetener to taste.

  8. Serve
    Enjoy warm, or refrigerate until chilled before serving.
