Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants

These Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants are a delicious combination of flaky, buttery pastry filled with savory ham and gooey melted cheese. Perfect for a quick breakfast, brunch, or an on-the-go snack, they’re easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser!

  • 8 mini croissants (or 4 large, halved)
  • 4 slices smoked cheddar cheese (or regular cheddar), halved
  • ¾ pound deli-cut ham (thinly sliced)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ to 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg white
  • Poppy seeds, for sprinkling

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven – Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2️⃣ Prepare Croissants – Slice each croissant in half horizontally. Place ½ slice of cheese on the bottom, followed by a slice of ham, then another ½ slice of cheese. Top with the other croissant half.

3️⃣ Make Spread – In a small bowl, mix butter, mustard, honey, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.

4️⃣ Assemble Sandwiches – Spread the butter mixture on the inside of each croissant.

5️⃣ Arrange in Dish – Place the croissants in the baking dish.

6️⃣ Egg Wash – Whisk the egg white with a splash of water. Brush over the croissants and sprinkle with poppy seeds.

7️⃣ Bake – Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.

8️⃣ Serve – Enjoy warm!
